OOTD- Stretchy dresses can be a girl's best friend!

When you can no longer fit into say a skirt that has to be zipped reach for the nearest thing that is stretchy!  Sunday morning was a mad dash getting ready for church and after trying on 4 other outfits I finally reached for this dress.  Sometimes I forget how much I love this dress but not anymore!  I also forget that when I am pregnant instead of my tummy going waaaay out my butt, love handles and thighs like to grow instead!  Someday I want to design a maternity line that is for women like me that grow as much in back as they do in front;)!  Here is what I wore to church on Sunday...

Did I tell you I believe in love at first sight?  Well I do and I found it with this!  I am trying to justify getting it since this top arrived and I am totally mid-drifting in it!!  FYI it's not an attractive look for anyone but especially not a pregnant woman!

Today was "Fashion Disaster" day at school.... I really wanted to do more but she still wanted to be *pretty!*  I am sure she has a crush on someone in her class!

The Faux-Hawk was really fun to do but she made me tame it waaay down!  

Confessions about how I look...

I got dressed up on V-Day and all ready in a skirt then I looked in the mirror.  To say I look chubby is putting it nicely I am at that awkward stage where I don't quite look pregnant but something is definitely going on!  I was all set to snap a picture when my son walked up and patted my tummy and said "big tummy mommy."  I think we will wait on pictures for a few months days at least!  I have still been shopping not too worry folks!  Here are some cute things I picked up lately!

This beautiful maxi is not only cute but cheap!  I will say SIZE UP it runs small (I should have known that since it's in the juniors section!)  I got the black and cream one and imagine it with cute brightly colored cardigans all Summer long!

Women's Printed Tanks

This cute top is forgiving and flattering, I don't look pregnant in it!!!  For 12 bucks it's a total steal, and this little top matches perfectly!!

Maternity Striped Maxi Skirts

I know this is maternity but I got this skirt and am so excited to have another option instead of sweats!!

TOMS 'Classic Sequins' Slip-On (Women)

If you are not on the TOMS bandwagon yet time to get on!  I have worn my grey ones out and think these little beauties will replace them nicely!  I promise the *bling* factor is just right on them!

Ping-Pong Tank

Be still my ever quirky print loving heart!  I ordered this dress it's HORRIBLE on me (it could be the pregnancy or it could be just unflattering I am unsure at this point!)  So to satisfy my desire for a fun print this cute little top came home with me!

Wednesday Wants!

I tell you I have really been in a dry spell because I did not want much at Anthro or anywhere else, then I started snooping around online and BAM!  I have a wishlist as tall as me!  Here are the main items I am scheming to get!

OOTN- Breaking Dawn!!!

Just to be honest... BEST MOVIE YET!!!  I loved it, the romance, the comedy, the bloody scenes and most of all the shirtless scenes *spoiler alert* there are only TWO shirtless scenes.  That was my ONE and ONLY complaint!  I had a wonderful time with all of the ladies and am so hopped up on Dr Pepper I am blogging at 4 am!! Tomorrow I will want to sleep all day, but at least I will have these cute and super cheap shoes arriving (sometimes it's the little things that get you through the day!)  Here is what I wore tonight...

Thrifty Tuesday!

Plain and simple I have been garbage at doing this blog, do you ever feel like you just can't catch up on life?  I do.  I have spent the week scouring the internet (and buying) some of these cute things.  I should tell you this came in the mail and I am not a fan (looks cheap and the fit makes me look pregnant!)... I guess it's back to the drawing board for an outfit!  Here are my thrifty finds (FYI all the pictures are links to the products.)

I have been eyeing this skirt debating if I can pull it off or not and then it hit sale and now it's on it's way (I will decide when it gets here!)


I am on a *flats* kick lately and ordered these they look so much like these made by Prada!


I cannot tell you enough how much I LOVE this cardi!  I got it in orange and am eyeing it in a few more colors!  My only advice is follow the reviews and size up!

Once upon a time...

I was going to post 'Thrifty Tuesday's' on Thursday and then life got busy!  I worked at the Book Fair for my daughter's school all morning and then went chasing around town trying to find some metal thingy that helps turn your sprinklers off during the Winter.  It took most of my day, and then I was busy *trying* to pass the FINAL level on Curvebot like I said I was B-U-S-Y!!!  I will stay up all night if that is what it takes to pass the final level!  So here are this weeks super cute thrifty things!

I came across this dress at ON and if it had been longer it would have been mine!  I love a good cotton dress (so easy!) and with the 30% off promo code it's a real steal!


I am a total shampoo snob I admit it!  I usually use this but my daughter saw a commercial for these Suave shampoo's and HAD TO HAVE THEM!  I got them because they are dirt cheap and smell sooooo good!  I honestly can tell you they are fabulous!!  I use them every other day and cannot tell much a difference between those and my $$ shampoo's!  Give them a try what do you have to lose (like 6 bucks?)  I HIGHLY recommend the Rosemary and Mint the smell is identical to Aveda!

OOTD- Fireworks and Fun!

Yesterday was so much fun, we spent the day 4-wheeling and BBQ-ing and then watching my pyro-brother's light up the night!  My son is a pyro in the making that kid LOVED the fireworks!  I love the 4th of July, it's such a wonderful day!  I feel so blessed to live in this country and am so grateful for the men and women serving in the armed forces.  Here is what I wore yesterday...

This dress arrived in an obnoxious yellow bag yesterday and I tore it open and immediately tried it on.  It was love at first try and I am planning on wearing it on Mother's Day for our family dinner.  Can you believe I got this tank, mini-cardi and dress for less than 30 bucks?  I know F21 is all the blogger buzz but, I cannot believe how great the things F21 is coming out with lately, and how much I have jumped right on the bandwagon (and proud of it Fo-Sho!)

A Mother's Day Wishlist (hint, hint!)

With Mother's Day less than 2 weeks away (May 8th) time to get ordering those gifts!!  I know this Mother's Day the gift I will be getting will be small because we are saving for a home but, a girl can dream can't she???  Here is my wishlist!!

OOTD- Mom clothes!

I am contemplating a trip to Nordy's today to beg them to track down these in seafoam and a size 6 1/2, to return my JS nude shoes because I ordered them in 2 sizes.  I am still trying to decide (as she gets her keys and kids loaded up!)  Last night my daughter said "Mom I hate McDonalds every time I order a hamburger they NEVER put ANY ham on it..." which begs the question: why are they called hamburgers?  (Yes I take my kids to eat fast food and yes they get McDonalds judge away folks, cause that's how I roll.)  Seriously if you know can you tell me?  Here is what I am wearing today...
