La la LASHES!

I started using Latisse about 3 months ago and wanted to report about my progress.  My eyelashes are totally longer and starting to really thicken.  I have been really happy with this product and the results!  I did switch mascara which I think helps!  I used to use this which I FIRMLY believe is the best cheap mascara on the market.  But my SIL told me to switch to this which so far I REALLY like but honestly need more time to decide if it's actually worth the $$!  If you want to get your hands on Latisse without going to the Dr. and getting a prescription (because maybe your doctor is not as generous with the prescriptions like mine!)  I know you can get it here and they have a *Dr* write you a script and mail it to you (cheapest place to get in online that I know of, even cheaper than the pharmacy with your Dr's prescription) and I personally have experience with this company so I know it's actually Latisse not F-atisse!

I never took a before shot but I found this one and hope you can see the difference!
Here is the *before* shot!

After!

Things to know about Latisse:
* It's about 100 bones for a 60 day supply
 (I can make it stretch to about a 90 by dropping one large drop in the cap and dipping the applicator into it, I also only use one applicator a night instead of the 2 it recommends)
* It takes 6 weeks to start to see any results
* You only use it a few times a week once desired results are achieved, so the price will decrease after the initial 3 month period!
* Once you stop using it your lashes will eventually return to normal
* The studies have not shown a change in eye pigment with the use of Latisse BUT in patients that used the same product for Glacoma under the name Lumigan.

Here is Brooke Shield's Before and After photo's after 12 weeks, and they are much better than mine!
* I am in no way endorsing the use of prescription drugs without a prescription, just letting people know about my experience with it. *

*If you jack your eyes and your lashes fall out, or your eyes turn black I will not be held liable!  Sue Brooke Shields she actually has $$*

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

I am not ashamed to say this is my FAVORITE holiday hands down!! I love Christmas, the season for giving and the excitement I feel again with my own children!  I also love that this is a holiday centered around the birth of our Savior!  I decorated my house for the holiday's last Saturday and then the tree on Tuesday and then ordered this and this.  I am enjoying the smell of fresh pine that is wafting through the house!!  Here is a small holiday tour of Mi Casa...
 For the past 15 years I have collected Nativities!  Every time we go on a trip I buy one!  I have only a small fraction of them on my shelf (for lack of space)!

I picked up this Matryoshka doll Nativity in Russia 2 years ago!

This is my hand carved olive wood Nativity (well three pieces of the 20 piece collection) I got in 2000 in Jerusalem!  I have them from Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico and a few other places I can't remember (because they are in boxes until I have room to display them all!!)

 Here is my tree!

I was tagged by Spiffy so here is my take on the tag:

Seven interesting things about me:
* I am really a brunette (I have SO much grey hair I have to dye it, so I chose red!)
* I am OCD about locking my doors and safety!  I have a high tech alarm system on my house and am pretty sure every noise I hear at night is someone breaking in and trying to kill me!!!
* I call my husband like 10 times a day (and my sister about 4 times a day!) I have a talking problem just ask anyone in my family!
* I secretly love watching the show Keeping up with the Kardashians (I know, I know!)
* I have a fondness for all things made in camouflage!
* I give EVERYONE I know a nickname, It's a sign of affection!  My kids are:  Munkins, Mister Bear, and Vee-Gee Time.  I have no idea why, but I really love giving those I love nicknames!
* I LOVE me some Neil Diamond!  I think that even though he is Jewish that man makes a mighty fine Christmas album!

Seven most regrettable things I have eaten:
* 2 half pints of Ben and Jerry's Mint Oreo (in one sitting)
* a freezer burnt lean cuisine
*  McRib
* A box of half eaten cold chicken nuggets
* a Big Hunk candy bar
* Escargot
* A whole bag of candy corns (just try it and you will understand!)

Seven products I use everyday:
* Bobbi Brown concealer
* Chapstick
* Toothbrush, paste and floss!
* Soap
Mascara
* Foundation (I get that dreaded pregnancy mask during pregnancy, and it has never gone away!)
* Deodorant (I am a man sweater and once I forgot to put it on... so I immediately hit up the nearest Walgreen's and remedied that situation!)

Seven things I really want for Christmas:
*MacBook Pro (17 inch)
* Laptop carrying case
* new iPhone
* Anthro gift card
* New ironing board (I only use when I sew!)
* New perfume
* A new TV!!!!

The seven people I tag: Jessica, Peggy, Molly, Kathleen, Ashley, Jenni, and Leah

Bobbi Brown you stole my heart!

Because it's all about sharing the love on this blog, here is one of mine!  I used to love Clinique, then onto MAC, Lancome, and so on!  Well my latest obsession in makeup is Bobbi Brown.  I love every single item of hers I have purchased!  I purchased the shimmer brick as seen below almost 2 years ago and this very morning as I was scraping out the last of it I thought "I better head to Nordy's this week to pick up a new one!"  These are the best!  You can wear one color or all!  All the colors look great together and most importantly, it lasts FOREVER (almost)!

Shiny vs Matte?

No I am not talking about LCD's or photo's...
I'm talking about lips!

Bare minerals Buxom is hands down the BEST lip gloss EVER!!! I love this lip plumping gloss! Unlike other lip plumper's it does not burn, it gives you a minty sensation like you are chewing a fresh piece of gum. I have been debating over whether or not I should purchase another lip gloss (to add to the ever growing collection) or if I should follow the new 'trend' of matte lips. I saw after fashion week they kept saying "matte is the new glossy" problem is sometimes those trends don't transpose well into the general population. But, I also don't want to be walking around with people thinking "her lips are sooooo 2009:)!" So now I am stuck... glossy or matte?

Best foundation EVER!

I am one of those unfortunate souls that gets the dreaded 'pregnancy mask' it's horrible and embarrassing!! Two years ago my mask was in full effect and I was trying EVERYTHING I could to hide it!! I went on a mission to find the best foundation and here it is folks! It has great coverage never streaks or gives you the dreaded 'line'. It's easy to apply and good for your skin!!
