OOTD- Red for Christmas!

Christmas was wonderful I am still cleaning up the aftermath!  My oldest got a karaoke machine and is currently singing a Hannah Montana song at the top of her lungs, I am already thinking I will regret that purchase!  Santa was good to me this year and I got an iPad 2, hubby actually said it was a gift for him since I use his iPad more than he does, so now he gets his back.  This is a busy week for our family we celebrate our 10 year anniversary, my hubby turns 35 and New Year's!  We are off for a little couples getaway to celebrate 10 wonderful years!
I originally got this to wear with the dress but it was ITCHY!!  I also got these earrings and they are just BEAUTIFUL, I highly recommend them.  Here is what I wore to church on Sunday...

OOTD- Dagmar for Christmas Fun!

Can you believe Christmas is in two days?  I am so excited to see how my kids react to all their presents!  I have put myself on the naughty list because of my severe lack of self control I splurged Tuesday night (late at night, note to self: do not go onto Anthro's website at 1:00 AM no good can come of it!)  I picked up this, this and these I really was not planning on getting anything else since hubby and I are flying (love you Xanex!) to Arizona for a few days to stay at the fancy-schmancy Biltmore it has long been a dream of mine to stay there (since I fell in LOVE with the one in Miami), and on our ninth anniversary we are finally doing it!  I have major plans to sleep in, read a book uninterrupted, hit the spa for a massage, facial, mani pedi, and of course SHOPPING!!  My in-law's are watching the kiddo's!  Too bad I already spent most my budget the other night?!  Oh well, I am a chronic returner so I already know some things are headed back!  Here is what I wore the other night to the Nutcracker and then to see my MIL sing in the the Mo-Tab concert (featuring David Archuletta *scream*!)  Can I also say these shoes are SO comfy I could run a marathon in them!?

Last minute Christmas stuff!

Done D-O-N-E I am done with Christmas shopping!  I had a few *hard* to shop for people but managed to come up with something!  I even ordered a few things from JCrew (for myself cough cough) and for my hubby! Now to start with all the Christmas baking, I love to bake fun goodies during the holiday's and wanted to share my VERY favorite food blog!  My friend Christy writes the blog The Girl Who Ate Everything and it is the BEST food blog!  Every time I make anything from her blog people rave about it!  I am planning on making these and eating the entire batch myself, because they are my favorite cookie!  This outfit is from last week but I loved it so much on Sara and Jan I knew I was going to re-create it (no need to re-invent the wheel right?)  Just one of the many reason's I LOVE blogging!  Here is what I wore last week...

OOTD- Nutcracker!

I love this top but mildly think I look like the nutcracker in it!  I spend my morning tracking down a 'stinky the garbage truck' because (STUPID) Walmart.com lost the one I ordered on Black Friday in transit and refused to ship me another (because they were sold out online, yes they still have them in some stores!)  They gave me a refund minus the shipping (for the item that never shipped!)  I seriously HATE Walmart, I have ordered two things from them this Christmas and both orders they have screwed up!  Anyway I now have 'Stinky' and all is right with the world!  Here is what I am wearing today...

Snow White does not want a bag on her head!

First off I want to say that it has been unseasonably warm here which is WEIRD!  Last night we took the kids to see the city Christmas lights and rolled down our windows because it was 50 degree's outside at 7:00 pm?!  Then this morning SNOW at least 6 inches, which is good because, I LOVE a white Christmas.  Speaking of Christmas (Hubs are you reading this, because I really hope you are!)  I am totally planning on getting a MacBook pro since I tell you everyday to make sure and order it and sent you emails about it I have slyly told you I would like one.  So to go with my awesome new computer I *think* I need a laptop bag, I found a few cute ones what do you think?

Tell me which bag you like best, or do you think laptop bags are useless?  I don't want a hard case because I am going to geek my laptop out with this little decal on the back (my sister is already making fun of me, but I love Disney *not in a tee-shirt wearing kinda way*)  Admit it, it's cute!

Lastly onto a little review; I ordered the Snowy Egret Shift dress and it was a total disaster!!  Here are pictures for your amusement!

It's huge up top and well there is a huge leaf on my boob, AWKWARD!  Back to the den of oddly placed leaves from whence you came!

OOTD- Dots and spots!!

Last night for FHE we headed to Target to get some items for a needy family.  I told my kids over and over again that they would be getting NOTHING this was about helping others not ourselves.  When it came time to pay my daughter noticed that I had picked up a pair of socks for myself and then proceeded to ask "why are you getting socks?  I thought we were getting NOTHING for ourselves?"  OOPS!!!  I am a bad example!  I just swept it aside but really should have put them back and stayed true to what I told the kids.  I think I will put myself in 'time out' today (for a few hours locked in my room!) as a punishment!  Actually I am staying true to one thing, and did not get anything today on sale even though I am loving this (I am certain it would be too short) and these just look so comfy and cute!!  Here is what I am wearing today...

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

I am not ashamed to say this is my FAVORITE holiday hands down!! I love Christmas, the season for giving and the excitement I feel again with my own children!  I also love that this is a holiday centered around the birth of our Savior!  I decorated my house for the holiday's last Saturday and then the tree on Tuesday and then ordered this and this.  I am enjoying the smell of fresh pine that is wafting through the house!!  Here is a small holiday tour of Mi Casa...

 For the past 15 years I have collected Nativities!  Every time we go on a trip I buy one!  I have only a small fraction of them on my shelf (for lack of space)!

I picked up this Matryoshka doll Nativity in Russia 2 years ago!

This is my hand carved olive wood Nativity (well three pieces of the 20 piece collection) I got in 2000 in Jerusalem!  I have them from Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico and a few other places I can't remember (because they are in boxes until I have room to display them all!!)

* I am really a brunette (I have SO much grey hair I have to dye it, so I chose red!)
* I am OCD about locking my doors and safety!  I have a high tech alarm system on my house and am pretty sure every noise I hear at night is someone breaking in and trying to kill me!!! 
* I call my husband like 10 times a day (and my sister about 4 times a day!) I have a talking problem just ask anyone in my family!
* I secretly love watching the show Keeping up with the Kardashians (I know, I know!)

* I give EVERYONE I know a nickname, It's a sign of affection!  My kids are:  Munkins, Mister Bear, and Vee-Gee Time.  I have no idea why, but I really love giving those I love nicknames!
* I LOVE me some Neil Diamond!  I think that even though he is Jewish that man makes a mighty fine Christmas album!

Seven most regrettable things I have eaten:
* 2 half pints of Ben and Jerry's Mint Oreo (in one sitting)
* a freezer burnt lean cuisine
*  McRib
* A box of half eaten cold chicken nuggets
* a Big Hunk candy bar
* Escargot
* A whole bag of candy corns (just try it and you will understand!)

Seven products I use everyday:
* Bobbi Brown concealer
* Chapstick
* Toothbrush, paste and floss!
* Soap
* Mascara
* Foundation (I get that dreaded pregnancy mask during pregnancy, and it has never gone away!)
* Deodorant (I am a man sweater and once I forgot to put it on... so I immediately hit up the nearest Walgreen's and remedied that situation!)

Seven things I really want for Christmas:
*MacBook Pro (17 inch)
* Laptop carrying case
* new iPhone
* Anthro gift card
* New ironing board (I only use when I sew!)
* New perfume
* A new TV!!!!

Let me start off by saying the Jazz game was AWESOME 10th row baby!!!  We had so much fun on an official date without the kids!  My wonderful SIL watched the three naughties and they helped her family decorated the tree and for Christmas.  Is it wrong that after seeing these at her house I immediately went home and ordered them for myself?!!  So what if it was 12:55 I really wanted them!  Here is what I wore last night...
