OOTD- Flourishing stripes!

I got this top a few months ago but never found the right occasion to wear it until last week when I went to dinner with some old friends from my Florida years.  The situation in which they were all here was sad but we managed to have a wonderful dinner and catch up!  Alright back to real life which includes a pack-a-thon (have I mentioned that I hate packing yet?)  Oh and on the bright side, my birthday is in 15 days (but who is counting?!)

So I am trying to grow my bangs out and those guys are driving me CRAZY!  I either twist, braid or pull them back but, they are at that awkward stage, so excuse them for awhile.  This outfit is from last week but since I loved the cute cardi and got it for 12 bucks, I had to share the love!

Did I mention Spring is here?  Finally we are getting some beautiful weather and with it- stitches!?  My daughter was running around in the yard on Monday and cut her foot she ended up with stitches to close it up- should I tell you this is her second set in a week (last time it was her head?!)  Yeah, it's been a little crazy here lately!  Yesterday was quite a sale... I did pull the trigger on Ardennes skirt because it hit second cuts.  Here is what I am wearing today...

OOTD- Snow kidding it's April!?

Yesterday we woke up to 6 inches of snow!  What in the heck is going on?  I am soooo ready for warmer temps.  The odd thing is the day before it was in the 70's that's Utah in the Spring.  I did a little online shopping over the weekend and picked up some nude shoes for a great price!  I am putting an outfit together for Easter!:)  Here is what I am wearing today (although I may need to switch my shoes out so they don't get ruined in the slushy snow!)...

OOTD- Roses cheer me up!

Sometimes I ask myself 'why do I blog, because it does take a good deal of time and effort?'  Then yesterday things at our household went south fast, my cute outfit was barfed on and I was cleaning up after three kids with the barf flu.  In all my soiled and laundry doing glory I had a moment of clarity- at least I can say I looked good for one second before barfy got me, and I have the picture to prove it dang it!!!  Remember when I told you sometimes after a rough day I reward myself with things?  Yeah, I broke down and ordered this, this, and these (crossing my fingers they are not too big!)  Today the disaster cleanup continues, I am hoping to finally get to that Halloween decorating!  Here is what I am wearing...

With fall in the air (and a coupon) I ordered a few cute deco's for my house!  I love PB/PBK and could not resist this and this, is it me or would these little guys freak you out too?  I have such a fear of mice!

Bye bye sissy!

Yesterday was a very sad day for me, my dog Pretzel "sissy" died.  She was 14 and old, but it still makes me really sad to lose her.  She had such a sweet temperament and was a very kind and loving animal.  I was going to take an OOTD picture today but my eyes are a little red and swollen so I will post an old one I was too busy to post the day I wore it...

All night it was stormy it thundered and poured, I love a good summertime storm!  It's still cloudy and rainy today... and a bit chilly!  I have a reunion with the group I did a study abroad in Jerusalem with tonight.  This is what I am wearing....  I also have no idea why my photo's are so saturated with color (blogger?) they look completely normal on my computer!
