OOTD- Cowgirl Up!

It has been an eventful past few days, three nights ago my little baby was knocked off the top bunk by her older brother.  The next day we headed to the doctor and after an X-ray they think she broke her foot, so she has a splint on her little foot.  We will go back in a week for another X-ray and then maybe (if things don't look better) get a cast put on.  Good times I tell ya!  Then yesterday my two youngest kids woke up with fevers and my baby made me hold her ALL DAY or else she would cry.  Poor little girl, they are doing a little better today.  So instead of wallowing in my self pity (which I kinda feel like doing) I will cowgirl up and carry on, after all it could be worse.  I did reward myself with a little purchase last night and decided to get this swimsuit, crossing my fingers that I like it!!  Here is what I am wearing today...
Top J Crew: similar here
Skirt Anthro: similar here
Boots Anthro: Bowtied Beauties
Belt Anthro: similar here
Socks F21: similar here

This is my attempt at taking a closeup shot of my shirt.

  5. Oh no! Poor baby is right! I hope your peanut's foot heals quickly and that the fevers are already gone! You look very cute in your gingham, love the cheerful red! I hope the bathing suit is a perfect fit when it arrives, I have my eye on a couple at J.Crew, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet...

  10. Super cute outfit Tricia! Sounds like you had a great week ;). I have such a hard time when my kids get sick. I hate when they feel bad and there isn't much I can do for them. I just try to comfort them as best I can. I hope the swimsuit works out. It's really cute. I also hope that your little one heals quickly.

  15. Sending you big hugs ... it's so hard when the little one's are sick and demanding .. shew, some days I miss the little people stage (3 and under) ... luckily, although my boys are 10 and 12 they still love to cuddle (only when they want to though). I'd have helped out if I were closer - think you deserve a back rub at least. Hope the little one's foot heals quick-quick.

  17. And what a stylish little cowgirl you are!

That sounds just awful with the kids. I would cry and definitely throwing myself a pity party if I were you - you're much stronger than I am!

Hope you had a good weekend!
