Ah, I loved American Girl stuff when I was younger. I remember my parents made me save up to buy my doll, and with Christmas money from my great uncle I could finally afford it - only to have Santa bring me the doll the next morning! I was SO excited. Have you visited an American Girl store with your daughter? My mom and I went to the Chicago one right after it opened - I was 12 or 13, so way out of the target age, but I still thought it was awesome!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!!! ruffles everywhere....those are such beautiful deep Fall colors...cute little jeans too hunnie!!
ReplyDeleteI remember the American Girl days....my daughter turns 18 this Sunday.....yea, a sure sign of aging!!! hahahaha

I love the pop of cranberry with that grey sweater! Good for you for starting early on the Christmas shopping. I really should do the same! There are some things I'll need to order from online store and I always wait until the last minute but this year I'm going to order earlier. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat great pieces, Tricia! I'm jealous you have started your shopping. I haven't began to think about it which means I'll be stressing this holiday season =(
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute outfit! The cranberry color looks great on you! Thanks for the knock-off heads up - I'm definitely going to be getting the gray "plaza cardigan".
ReplyDeleteTricia, my 2 daughters have a closet full of Amer. Girl stuff, beds, dolls, clothes, bikes, sleigh. Now ask me if they play with it!! I love that ruffle cardi. I just ordered one myself. At $39.99 how can I pass that up. Cute, cute outfit today!!
ReplyDeleteThat cardigan is super cute! I love how the ruffles continue around the back!
ReplyDeleteI love American Girl stuff...if I ever have a daughter, whooboo I'm going to bankrupt myself shopping for their doll clothes ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look STUNNING in these colors Tricia, and hello skinny mins - where is the Halloween candy you've been eating? Mine is (probably permanately) attached to my thighs, but you look look like you are LOSING weight. Homemade pasta and chocolate and skinny? That's not fair!
Cute as always!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute cardi! The ruffles are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute outfit today...you look great! I love the unexpected pop of blue in the shoes! I am loving that "SHort and Sweet" sweater...total bargain too! I may have to bite---eek! =) And I'm a total Black Friday shopper too...it's like my CHristmas, really. Three weeks, 1 day!!! =)
ReplyDeleteMan American Girl stuff is so expensive. I had no concept of that when I was a kid and wanted EVERYTHING in the Samantha collection. Thankfully my mom was a crafty sewer so once we got the doll, she made plenty of outfits that kept me distracted from the real deal.
ReplyDeleteI love this look. Casual but so pulled together! Those shoes and cardi are great pieces!
I bought that cardi this weekend in black.
ReplyDeleteyeah, so much for keeping lack of closet space in mind :)
I was totally obsessed with the American Girl dolls when I was younger!!! I had a couple of them but now they are sitting around my parents house collecting dust!
ReplyDeleteI'm a die hard Black Friday shopper too! I think it should be a holiday so that everyone can participate!
ReplyDeleteI found you on Lisa Respect the Shoes Outtakes. Now following.
ReplyDeleteI have your Buds and Bunches Tank by Bordeau. I can't seem to make the detailed neckline work with much. You did a great job of doing just that with the J Crew Cardi.
