We are officially on Spring Break here... not sure how I feel about it yet. If we had not just gone on a cruise I would have taken the kids somewhere- instead we are having a 'stay-cation' today we are going to see the movie "Hop" mmmmmm... movie popcorn! You know the adds on the side bar of facebook? I always thought those things were worthless until last night when I spied this little number and have it at the TOP of my wishlist right now (do I get an Easter present from the bunny too?) Here is what I wore to church yesterday...

* Can I just say this past week I have watched the movie Strictly Ballroom like 10 times. I LOVE that movie soooo much and cannot get enough of it!!! If you have not seen it yet, it is a must see for anyone who loves off- beat comedies (like Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and on TV The Office) Just FYI!!! *
I absolutely LOVE the print-mixing here! It is beautiful on you!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look up Strictly Ballroom. Both my husband and I love the Christopher Guest mockumentaries (Best in Show, etc) so I know I would love this one!
Have a fun first day of spring break! I can't wait till my youngest is just a little older and we can go back to the movies again...maybe this summer?!! You look awesome in this cute outfit...I love the bright colorful print with this dress! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSpring is almost here for us!! Yay! Sounds like a fun week you have planned. I love being at home and doing stuff with my kids. I love your dress with the floral sweater, really gorgeous. Have a fun week!!
ReplyDeleteyou look so cute in your mixed patterns - enjoy your movie, I heard it's pretty good!
ReplyDeleteHello super fab pattern mixer!!! I think I may have found my newest fav outfit of yours:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect pair! Actually two perfect pairs... your shoes and your dress with that cardi!
ReplyDeleteLove your pattern mixing here - so cute! And I pretty much adore that purse. Yes, the Easter Bunny needs to put in in your basket!
ReplyDeleteI bought that whole outfit, too! SO CUTE. Do you have issues with the straps on the Chocolate Chip dress? I think I need to get my altered, because they keep falling down my shoulders.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would have picked up that dress. I love the print of it and seeing how you mixed up the patterns with the cardigans makes me really really want it now!
ReplyDeleteAhhh...I wish I was a kid again and got a spring break. Have fun at the movie!
I love this combination...I have that cardi and wish I had a similar dress to wear it with!
ReplyDeleteAH! Waiting for Guffman - YES!!! That's one of my favorites!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look so fantastic with your pattern mixing, I really love this outfit.
What did you think of Hop? After seeing Tangled, I don't think any other movie can compare. I was a little bored with Hop...
Come take a look inside A Working Mom's Closet
Ever since the Annona Dress did not work out for me I have been checking Ebay for the Chocolate Chip - I WANT IT!!!! So cute on you, and very pretty with that cardi! How was the movie?
ReplyDeleteCute Kate Spade bag! Have a fun 'stay-cation!' :)
ReplyDeleteI never think to mix patterns like that. You and your sis are slowly making me think outside the box and move outside of my comfort zone. Good luck with the stay-cation. Sometimes those are some of my fav vacas.
ReplyDeleteThat dress, and the cardigan are amazing!!!!
