Ready for take off?

First off: HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!!!

(totally one of the most underrated holiday's of all time, also one of the BEST movies EVER!!)

Last Saturday I went on a mini-shopping spree at Target mainly it consisted of toilet paper, paper towels, Tide, garbage bags, diapers and Dr Pepper.  But while perusing around I found some cute sunglasses!  I decided for less than 20 bucks to try them on and voila' I was sold (no literally!)  I had been lusting after these aviator glasses for awhile, but with my track record on sunglasses though it might not be a *good idea* to get them.  Then I found these cuties...

Do you like my new shades?  I could not find them online but here are some very similar sunglasses that are also cheap!!!

* I hope all you lovely ladies enjoyed the HUGE sale and got lots and lots of great stuff!!!  I would have totally nabbed this dress (hint, hint hubs!)  Luckily I already own this but it is sad because it's still sitting in the box it arrived in, because it's a wrinkled mess and I have yet to iron it!  I hope you got lots of goodies!!

I have no idea how many times I have said I am on a 'no buy' to turn around and go crazy on sale day.  I decided that I am going on a 'no buy' for the ENTIRE month of February, for me this will be a huge challenge in self control.  We are going on a cruise mid March and I really want to save up for my vacation.  I have decided to give my cc and debit card to my hubby and take out a certain amount of cash that has to last me the entire month!  I told my husband about this idea and he laughed at me- he thinks there is no way I can do it (so now I am even more determined!)  Well that's my plan and last night I had my fingers crossed sale items would start popping up so that I could pick up one last thing but no sale.  I still decided to pick up one last thing...

This cute skirt- I just know it will be so cute with the navy blooming lattice, or a cropped red cardi.  My size was running out fast so I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger.

I also placed an Old Navy order and grabbed this as a swimsuit cover up and for only 10 bucks I had to get this 'Crew-a-licious' cardi!  So that's it I know I can do this but it will be hard, kinda nice every once in a while to really take control of yourself (at least I think it will be!)  So I will just live vicariously through all of you ladies come sale day!  Wish me luck!

New Bag!

The other day I was shopping around and found this bag I have been lusting over for months for dirt cheap!!!  I got it off this site and I can't wait for my gently used bag!!!  Now for the kicker they let me stack coupon codes and I stacked 3 of them!!  Somehow my total went down from around 300 to 200 (only 200 bones for an almost 600 dollar bag!) I am one happy girl!!!  We will see how good it looks when it shows up!  I called my hubby so excited about it and he said "Happy Valentine's Day!"  I hope he is still planning on getting me that Kindle I am pretty sure I *need*!  I don't have any OOTD pictures from yesterday since I spent the entire day in bed with three sick kiddo's!  I am pretty sick of people being sick!  Here is my new bag!

OOTD- Cowgirl Up!

It has been an eventful past few days, three nights ago my little baby was knocked off the top bunk by her older brother.  The next day we headed to the doctor and after an X-ray they think she broke her foot, so she has a splint on her little foot.  We will go back in a week for another X-ray and then maybe (if things don't look better) get a cast put on.  Good times I tell ya!  Then yesterday my two youngest kids woke up with fevers and my baby made me hold her ALL DAY or else she would cry.  Poor little girl, they are doing a little better today.  So instead of wallowing in my self pity (which I kinda feel like doing) I will cowgirl up and carry on, after all it could be worse.  I did reward myself with a little purchase last night and decided to get this swimsuit, crossing my fingers that I like it!!  Here is what I am wearing today...

Swim Drama...

With the cruise coming up, I am on the hunt for a bathing suit.  I have such a love/hate relationship with swimsuit shopping (mostly hate) but when I find a suit I love it's a great feeling!!  So I am asking all you ladies do you have any brands you love?  Suits you have tried on and love?  I found a few I like it and want to ask you opinion!

OOTD- Birthday bonanza!

We had a little birthday party for my baby who wanted a "Dora party" it was thrown together but she will never know because she is two.  I made the cake (which took hours) and after finishing it she immediately started yelling "I need to taste boots and Dora" kids are so fun!  I felt an immediate sense of relief when there was no sale this morning (I am trying to not spend much since we are going on a cruise in 6 weeks!)  I have been eyeing this but it would be for my trip so it does not count right?!  Here is what I wore to the party...

OOTD- Simply dressed!

Have you ever had one of those mornings where everything you were planning on wearing was a bust?  That is what happened to me yesterday, I had planned to wear my teacup dress but it just looked wrong on me.  So I was frantically going through my closet trying to find something while my hubby was loading the kids up to leave.  I finally just threw this on because it was simple and all items were readily available in my closet.  Also, I had my other two swim suits come... this one was huge, I think vanity sizing is getting out of control because I was a pretty solid medium until recently and apparently I am now a small (note: I have not lost weight)   This one really accentuates curves and gives you the hour glass figure, problem is I am a curvy girl and it seems to accentuate all my curves in a bad way.  Too bad because I really loved the idea of 50's style swimming suit.  Here is what I wore yesterday...
