OOTD- Tucker for Target!

After seeing Rosa in her outfit yesterday I decided to pull out my Tucker for Target top and show it some love!  Today is my last day before we leave on our vacation and I feel like a chicken with my head cut off *trying* to get everything done (which includes deep cleaning the house for our house guests!)  I did manage a small shopping trip in and picked these up and may I say they are cute and comfy!  Here is what I am wearing today...

La la LASHES!

I started using Latisse about 3 months ago and wanted to report about my progress.  My eyelashes are totally longer and starting to really thicken.  I have been really happy with this product and the results!  I did switch mascara which I think helps!  I used to use this which I FIRMLY believe is the best cheap mascara on the market.  But my SIL told me to switch to this which so far I REALLY like but honestly need more time to decide if it's actually worth the $$!  If you want to get your hands on Latisse without going to the Dr. and getting a prescription (because maybe your doctor is not as generous with the prescriptions like mine!)  I know you can get it here and they have a *Dr* write you a script and mail it to you (cheapest place to get in online that I know of, even cheaper than the pharmacy with your Dr's prescription) and I personally have experience with this company so I know it's actually Latisse not F-atisse!

Things to know about Latisse:

* It's about 100 bones for a 60 day supply
 (I can make it stretch to about a 90 by dropping one large drop in the cap and dipping the applicator into it, I also only use one applicator a night instead of the 2 it recommends)
* It takes 6 weeks to start to see any results
* You only use it a few times a week once desired results are achieved, so the price will decrease after the initial 3 month period!
* Once you stop using it your lashes will eventually return to normal
* The studies have not shown a change in eye pigment with the use of Latisse BUT in patients that used the same product for Glacoma under the name Lumigan.

First of all I totally got my fill of CRAZY last night on 'The Bachelor' WOW!  I want to say for the record I do not want Ashley to be the next Bachelorette (but I already know I will watch the season regardless!  And secretly am hoping they pick Michelle can you imagine the ratings?)  Thank goodness there was no big sale but I was kinda hoping that a few things would make it (I am talking about you over there!)  Here is what I am wearing...

OOTD- Dagmar delight!

I am getting ready to leave T-4 days!  I have been downloading books to my Kindle (Matched, The Goose Girl (Books of Bayern), and The Red Tent: A Novel) I may not be able to read them all (because I have a talking/shopping problem that takes a great deal of time) but at least I will get to them!  I am also so excited to hit up Vegas and try on some ankle length jeggings those are at the top of my Spring wishlist!  Here is what I wore to church yesterday...

OOTD- Volante Debut!

I have had this top since December 29th (I got it on my anniversary!)  I have not worn it yet, ummmm I did not want to iron it but finally broke down and *tried* to (does throwing it in the dryer with a wet rag count?)  My kids lost my wedding ring and I have been searching the house endlessly, I still have not found it and am just sick!  I have spent half of each day going through my house drawer by drawer and crawling around looking everywhere in the house.  I keep saying my prayers and hoping that they will be answered!  Here is what I am wearing the other day (before my wedding ring was lost!)...

Wow that was some sale hu?  I *almost* cannot believe it but I did not get anything!  I am holding out for a few items this dress, this cardi, and this belt.  I am proud of myself for resisting the impulse buy (which I usually never do) and saving for next week when it's vacation time!  I wore this dress on Saturday but since today I am in 'mom clothes' I thought I would post this...

Burlap Banner Tutorial...

I love me some St. Patty's Day!  It is such a fun holiday and well any excuse to wear a shamrock rates pretty high in my book!  I wanted to decorate for the season and lets face things like this won't work, so after searching around I found this cute idea on Etsy, but decided that instead of paying 22 dollars + shipping I would make it myself (for less than 4 bucks!)

Get some burlap (I got mine at Walmart *shudder* for 2.98 a yard)

Cut out a template I just cut until it looked right.

I cut out 7 flags for each banner

Make a template for your design I drew a shamrock and then exactoed it out

Get your glue gun out, and some (jute) twine 

(I got the twine at Loews a few years ago for like 4 bucks)

Glue pennants to twine (this is the no sew version!)

Get your paint supplies out, I used two different green's and a glittery green

(I already owned these)

Put your template on the burlap and 'stamp' it on.  

Yes there is a baby foot in the corner of the picture

Let dry for 15 minutes and Voila'...

Cute and cheap!

From start to finish it took me less than an hour and I made two!  

Totally my kind of craft!
