Yesterday I got all 'dressed up' for a date night with my kids.  We took them to see "How to train your dragon" and loved it!!  I wanted to show off my OOTD because I love how cute this tank is, such a great piece for layering!

I love this iPhone application hipstamatic it takes vintage prints with your iPhone. The photo's look like photo's of me as a baby in the 70's! The application is only $1.99 it even allows you to buy more "lenses" and different types of "film" to satisfy the budding photographer within. Anyone that has a iPhone or touch NEEDS this application! All of these photo's were shot with the three lenses the application comes with!

I soon may be doing a post on my husband's next "must have" purchase the iPad!

We're baaaaaaaaack!!

Just when you thought our children had learned from our mistakes... comes the new trend of 1980's fashion. We lived through it and learned but sadly each generation has to make their own mistakes! These clothes are killing me! They are everything BAD, (not like Michael Jackson... RIP) they are hideous, and represent everything horrible about 80's fashion! It's all coming back including the slang! Like totally Barf me out airhead that's so butt ugly, not in a gnarly way. Totally tubular though to think these posers can ever be as rad as us!

A belt to brighten my day!

After a rough weekend I was so happy to see an email from Anthro saying the (backordered) snakebite belt I had ordered in January was in the mail!!! I had been eyeing this belt since November! I can't wait to belt my cardi's, dresses, and all other outfits belt-worthy!! I also found a few new belt-worthy ensembles pictured below that would definitely brighten my day!

Really???

Last night I was hurriedly getting dinner ready.  My oldest daughter walks up to me and asks "can we please move to hidden valley?" I say "what are you talking about?"  She says "I have seen it on TV and they have ferris wheels, popcorn and Mom kids like to eat vegetables.  That's healthy right?"  I look over onto the counter and see the bottle of ranch that spurred this conversation.  "Sorry we can't move to hidden valley it's not real." she just walked away so disappointed.

I think my kids may watch too much TV!?
