OOTD- flowers and school!

Today is the last day of summer for my kids... school starts tomorrow, and that means I have to get up early, feed them breakfast and off to school by 8:20 I am NOT a morning person so I am dreading this tomorrow!  The only thing I have really missed all summer is structure!  I guess you take the bad with the good right?  Since I am blogging in my pj's right now, I will leave with a picture of what I wore to church yesterday (I was inspired by this cute girl)...

Chore charts

While perusing Etsy's site I came across these and picked them up.  My kids are obsessed with them and LOVE doing the chores so that they can move the little magnets from one side of the board to the other.  I started thinking maybe I need a chore chart so that I can get more organized... do you think they will make little blocks that say

oh, and clean
then when my hubby calls and asks "what are you doing?"  I can say "my chores" while I am looking at this and then trying to decide if I should get this instead.  I am all over adult chore charts!!

Since my sister has made it her mission to help me find a bag... she came across this and this which are both beautiful and may be the perfect fall bag!!  Or should I just drop the whole bag shenanigan and copy Jan and get these?

I picked this dress up awhile ago and since summer is wrapping up (frown) I decided to pull it out one last time!  I cannot believe the sale's at Anthro I guess they are really trying to clear the racks... if this or this were my size I would totally nab them for 10 BUCKS!!!  Here is what I am wearing today...

After yesterday's sale madness... I fell off the wagon again and got this.  We are going to Lion King in a month and I think it's the perfect thing to wear!  Also while perusing the Anthro site I found this for 10 BUCKS, and who doesn't need another tank for that cheap (plus it comes in some great fall colors)?  Here is what I am wearing today...

What's the sale-lio?

Well so much for staying on budget... ummm between school clothes for the kids and ME, things are getting hairy, but I still may make it (no more sale's Anthro!)  For a complete sale list check Roxy's blog and for a best of sale list check Kim's blog.  This was a HUGE sale with lots of goodies!!!  Here is what I caved in and got (last night, I was worried they would sale out of what I wanted!)...

OOTD- Polk-a-dot!

This outfit is old and the first item(s) I paid full price (gasp) for at Anthro.  I got this outfit for my 10 year reunion and although we were starving students (still in dental school) I wanted something that made me feel pretty, so my sweet husband let me get this ensemble.  I was smitten with this outfit and felt so pretty and skinny in it (even though I was 3 months pregnant with my son.)  My mom always tells me that you get far more enjoyment out of things you wait for and I know that's true because I have loved this outfit since I got it in 2006!  Here is what I wore to church yesterday....

I really tried to find a full length shot from my 10 year reunion, but I guess I don't have one?  Here is my hubby (who was not a fan of the reunion) and I.

Big Bag Decisions!

I kinda like that it's FRIDAY the 13th oooooohhhh....  Halloween is seriously one of my favorite holiday's so I guess I'm a little bit country and a little bit goth?!  My birthday is coming up in 19 days but who is counting right?  I am because I will be 33 and I just know that is a magical number!  Since hubby says it a bust for this gift (I have no idea why, I mean I could find a Chloe' handbag for a little cheaper if he wants to save money!)  He scoffs at me when I tell him everything I want!  Christmas he promises me, then I will get my computer (and if I stay on budget, ummmmm I may not get it after all!)  So I have decided I *need* a new handbag, I am currently carrying this around and feel it's a bit too bright for fall!

And keep eyeing it's sister...
Tell me that if you already have the bag in one color, you do not need it in another, variety is the spice of life right?!


So I need you lovely ladies to vote, I love so many bags I am having a hard time deciding!  Let me know what you think!

I have never owned a Juicy bag so I have no idea on the quality, but I have 6 Juicy suits so I obviously LOVE the brand!


Option #2 The Kooba
I am concerned the color is too similar to my Rebecca Minkoff?


Option #3 The Morning After bag (this title has all sorts of scandal in it!)


Option #4 The Kooba in Brick (I really wanted a shiny bag, so that is my hold up on this guy, is it shiny enough?)


And Lastly Option #5 The Michael Kors Clubbing bag (I just worry I will look overdressed in one of the afore mentioned Juicy suits- I wear as my 'winter uniform' everyday!)
