OOTD- Fun Size!

Yesterday I was eating a *fun sized* Twix and once again I had the thought (as I have had so many times) why in the world are they called fun sized?!?  Does anyone out there think those are fun sized???  I think fun sized would be twice as large as king sized, that would be *fun*!  I think the name should be officially changed to *dumb size* because eating one is never enough!  That being said, here is what I wore to church yesterday...

OOTD- Mom clothes!

I am contemplating a trip to Nordy's today to beg them to track down these in seafoam and a size 6 1/2, to return my JS nude shoes because I ordered them in 2 sizes.  I am still trying to decide (as she gets her keys and kids loaded up!)  Last night my daughter said "Mom I hate McDonalds every time I order a hamburger they NEVER put ANY ham on it..." which begs the question: why are they called hamburgers?  (Yes I take my kids to eat fast food and yes they get McDonalds judge away folks, cause that's how I roll.)  Seriously if you know can you tell me?  Here is what I am wearing today...

OOTD- New Year's Eve Replay!

Pajama Jeans tell me this is a joke!!!  I guess in case you don't want to be bothered with changing your clothes before bed, or EVER.  Get them now they *could* be the next 'it' jeans!!!

Confession: sometimes I reward myself after a hard day with clothes (better than food I think!)  Today was registration for school and my kids were OUT OF CONTROL!!  Running all over the school, hiding, screaming- you get the idea!  I just wish school started today and not in 3 weeks!  So I came home and ordered a few things for myself to brighten up my day!

Beautiful? Sure, but for $695 bones?  REALLY?  I can just see my kids snagging the hand made lace right now (cringe) anyone who pays full price for this is MAD!

I am in the horrible and torturous process of potty training my dog. In an effort to find some help I searched online and look what I found... doggy diapers, unbelievable!!!  I can't stop laughing, yet I am strangely drawn to perhaps use these! I imagine Coco my mini-dachshund would most likely chew these up and make a horrible mess, and then I would be left with poop on my floor, a chewed up diaper and a dog that still goes in the house! I think I will stick with the crate training!!

She might look cute but potty training her is no pinic!

Baby Beluga...

In the deep blue sea...  Every year around this time I get the itch to go swimming suit shopping!  There are few things that are more painful such as; giving birth, breaking a bone, running a marathon you get the idea!  Last year I found a few websites that had MODEST and cute swimming suits.  I picked up two from Hapari that I love!  Fortunately I have finished losing the baby weight from #3 and they are a little BIG!  So I am on the hunt again!  Here are a few websites I have been perusing for the perfect suit!  Hapari, Shade swimwear, Lime Ricki, DownEast Basics and modbe.  I will be honest I have tried on suits from all the companies listed above and like Hapari the best, but I have friends that have worn them from all those brands and LOVE them!  So I think it really depends on your body type!

This is me in one Hapari suit (I know brave because I was 10 pounds heavier in that shot!)  I also have the giraffe sport tankini which is my favorite!

I have to comment on these...  CRAZY!!!  Makes you wonder if anyone really uses these, yet frightening to know they do!

Alice in Wonderland

James and I went to see Alice in Wonderland tonight. I even made him drive me 25 minutes to the theatre that still had it playing in 3D... ever since Avatar I ONLY want to see movies in 3D (but that's probably another post) The entire show James was CONVINCED that the mad hatter was Elijah Woods. After the movie he asked me "don't you think Elijah did such a good job!" Honestly though, the resemblance is a little uncanny!

We're baaaaaaaaack!!

Just when you thought our children had learned from our mistakes... comes the new trend of 1980's fashion. We lived through it and learned but sadly each generation has to make their own mistakes! These clothes are killing me! They are everything BAD, (not like Michael Jackson... RIP) they are hideous, and represent everything horrible about 80's fashion! It's all coming back including the slang! Like totally Barf me out airhead that's so butt ugly, not in a gnarly way. Totally tubular though to think these posers can ever be as rad as us!
